Aay's Fresh Herbs In 1964, the Aay family began growing vegetables in 24 glasshouses at Murray Bridge. Encouraged by a produce industry leader, the family decided, in 1987, to dedicate two glasshouses to growing fresh herbs. Australia’s leading fresh herb company has developed from this modest beginning. Today, the fertile river soils of the family’s 20-acre farm at Murray Bridge nurture over 20 varieties of fresh herbs in more than 300 glasshouses. In 1992, the Aay family pioneered the use of the Peak Fresh reusable, recyclable bag in the fresh herb industry - an Australian first, with its remarkable ability to preserve flavour and freshness. The family has also recently established a state-of-the-art packing complex at Golden Grove, just 15 minutes from the Adelaide Produce Market.
